Will Heise MD FACMT is the Chief Medical Officer at Bumblebee Health. He is board certified in Medical Toxicology and Family Medicine and board eligible for Addiction Medicine. Dr. Heise is committed to the evidence-based compassionate care of patients with substance use disorder.

He provides clinical leadership, quality assurance, policy development and direct patient care. He’s also engaged in research and teaching at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. He believes in teaching the next generation of physicians and providers. Dr. Heise lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his family and enjoys exploring mountain heights, swimming holes and international cities.

I continuously engage in professional development through training, continued education, and weekly supervision with my clinical supervision to ensure safe, appropriate, and effective services for clients. I am dedicated to creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgemental therapeutic environment for clients to work through unresolved trauma as a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP), challenges with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, emotional regulation, and the day-to-day stressors of life. As an African American therapist, I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with people from many different cultures, lifestyles, experiences, ethnicities, and socio-economic backgrounds. I focus on increasing my clients’ self-awareness and utilizing their newly acquired skills.  My clients feel empowered to develop and implement practical strategies and build better relationships. Therapy sessions with me include a strength-based approach which allows space for insight building. My style is warm, welcoming, and compassionate where you're safe to share and be heard but will be challenged. I value authenticity and honesty which create a safe environment for my clients. I am experienced in working with couples, depression, women's issues, substance abuse, anxiety, parent/child relationships, step/blended families, childhood trauma and ADHD. The evidence-based treatment approaches that I utilize are not limited to but include, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Practices, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Couples Therapy (Gottman trained approaches) as well as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).

Shannon Quinn, MS, C-DBT

Shannon is based in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area. She received her Bachelors of Science from Arizona State University and her Masters of Science in Family, Marriage, and Human Dynamics from Arizona State University. She is currently completing her Doctoral degree at Northern Arizona University -North Valley Campus for her PsyD in clinical psychology. She has experience working with PTSD/complex PTSD and trauma-related concerns, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss, eating disorders, addiction, relationship concerns, and other life experiences. She believes that each person has their own story that has shaped what they are currently experiencing. She blends compassion with evidence-based therapy techniques to nurture human resiliency and enable clients to move forward from past trauma. She utilizes a Client-Centered approach to therapy to help promote a safe environment in which the therapist is empathetic and nonjudgmental. The goal is for the client to experience a sense of acceptance, openness, and unconditional positive regard. She likes to bring a sense of fun into therapy sessions as laughter is not only a great medicine, but people learn more and are engaged when having an enjoyable experience. She is an eclectic therapist who draws from various disciplines to use a range of proven methods to determine the best therapeutic tools to help clients. Through her work, she strives to foster a safe space where clients can tell their stories, gain insight into how their life experiences have impacted them, and then create a new reality that is more fulfilling. She enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with family and her pets in her spare time. When she is not working, you can find her reading and enjoying the scenic beauty of Arizona.
